We LOVE Pictures!!!

We love pictures!!!

...especially of this guy!

And the other day when we got a Well Baby Check, which is always exciting...we were sad that there weren't any new pictures. However, when we reread the email from our agency...I can't believe that we had missed the line that said we are sending you a CD full of photos from the foster family!

All of the photos are special, and we feel very lucky to have received such a special gift. A photo that I love in particular is one of him with a dog. It looks like his foster family has a dog, which in our case is a mega yay since he has 3 furry siblings that are waiting for him. ;-)

We also appear to have the same stroller as his foster family!

The other day we did receive a Well Baby Check and our sweet boy is 34 inches and 28 pounds.

And in the World of Adoption from Korea...it is exciting to hear that families from other agencies have begun to get Travel Calls! Woohoo!!! So...we are hopeful that it will be our agency's turn fairly soon!!!

Here's a short vid of some of the other pics.

EP Approved!!!

The title says it all! It was a fantastic way to start a Monday!!!

What's next you ask? Well, it's the moment that we have been dreaming about, Travel Call!!! That's right, the next time we hear from our agency it will be a call telling us it's time to pack your bags and go to the ROK to get your sweet boy!!!
(btw-that means you need to be in Korea within 10 days or less!)

How long until then? Not sure, but the time frame will more than likely be 2-4 weeks from today. It would be nice if it were shorter...and as always it could be a little bit longer...but we know that our waiting is definitely getting nearer to the end!!!

Finally Finished!

Gavin's room is finally finished! It's really a work in progress, but for now it is ready for our special someone to come and make it his own!

Egads! I Found It!

Today while rummaging around in one of many drawers in my classroom, I was thrilled to find my name chop! I thought that I had lost it in one of my moves whether it was from Nebraska to Texas, or from school to school while in Texas.

This name chop was purchased for me by my father when he was in Korea in 1990 for training with the National Guard. My Korean name is actually cut into the seal. I remember my father saying that the shopkeeper was pleasantly surprised by the request.

Definitely looking forward to purchasing one more name chop for someone special!

One Step Closer!!!

I have to say, this is a wonderful way to start the week!

Gavin was submitted for EP Today!!!

Gavin had his Visa Physical on January 19th. We were hoping that once movement in Korea began, that he would be in one of the first batches. EP needs to be approved and then the next MAJOR event is when we finally get to hop on a plane and bring our sweet boy home. This should happen sometime this spring.

Thanks for your continued love and support.
