In 13 days, I will be about 2 hours away
from landing at Incheon Airport, in Seoul,
Korea.
I will almost "be home".
This year has passed by so incredibly
fast. It seems like I could hardly catch my
breath. But sometime during
this year, I knew that I would need to
return to Seoul, sooner rather than later.
Thankfully, Matt recognized this and said
that I could go back.
Originally, I thought that I would be able
to return to Korea taking Gavin with me.
But, for many reasons, it
is too soon. I know there are some
special people who would really love to
see him, but he needs just a little
bit more time before he can make a trip
back.
So, here I am dusting off the blog...there
have been so many times this year when
I wanted to post
something, but then I would just find
myself staring at the screen...
I am so thankful to have such a
supportive husband. I wouldn't have
made it through the year without him. I
am saving a gushy, schoomzy post
about that in a week or two.
I also wouldn't have "survived" the year
without some amazing friends, in
particular my friend who sent me
the "Travel Survivor Kit". She really
helped me get through some really rough
patches.
So here we go, 8 days of school to go,
and then as my dad used to say "Great
silver bird (in this case a light
blue or aqua) come and take me away."
